Lowell Hamilton : ウィキペディア英語版 | Lowell Hamilton __NOTOC__ Lowell Hamilton (born May 3, 1966) was a former high school and college basketball player during the 1980s. Hamilton, a dominant high school center, led Chicago's Providence-St. Mel to a third-place finish in the I.H.S.A. 1984 high school playoffs, as well as a Class A state title in 1985. Hamilton scored 165 points and grabbed 94 rebounds in 11 career state tournament games over four seasons. He also blocked 19 shots in three state tournament games in 1984, including eight against Lena-Winslow High School in the third place game. In 2007, Hamilton was voted one of the "100 Legends of the IHSA Boys Basketball Tournament," recognizing his superior performance in his appearances in the tournament.〔(IHSA - Legends of Boys Basketball )〕 Hamilton was a McDonald's All-American and went on to play for the University of Illinois for four years, 1985-1989. He was part of the Flyin' Illini team that qualified for the 1989 NCAA men's basketball tournament Final Four.
